*PACK WITH ME*

Helllloooo and Happy Friday :) Yay!

If you follow me on instagram, which if you’re not you totally should! (follow me here!) then you would know that I am on a short trip to visit Steven’s grandma for the next 4 days or so. I decided to take you along with me in the packing process and share what I pack, how I pack, packing tips and tricks for space saving and all my outfits.

So first thing I do is check the weather at my final destination. Obvi- this helps me decide what I need to pack and what kind of conditions I can expect. This goes for the obvious, my outfits and shoes, but also goes into skincare and haircare. My skin and hair react differently in different climates and the last thing I want is to be uncomfortable, or unhappy or just sort of STUCK with figuring out how to deal because my hair decided to be super frizzy.

Weather Report for my upcoming trip.

I like to look at each day, starting with my travel day, and in my mind go through the day and think about what I will be doing, eating, where I’ll be going etc. So obviously, travel day is the best and easiest day. COMFY COMFY COMFY- SWEATS SWEATS SWEATS! I am going to be in the car for approx. 5 hours and I want to stay as relaxed and comfortable as possible.

TRAVEL OUTFIT: This is literally THE PERFECT outfit for lounging. I wanted to pack a dark pair of sweats, because there are multiple ways I could wear it, and it’s perfect for when we are just hanging around the house. This pullover is my all time favorite every, and is a great layering piece for warmth or to wear on it’s own. I’m actually wearing this outfit again today (Friday) and will probably put my sweats back on again tomorrow!

You can wear your same pair of jeans up to 5 times before washing them. So packing one pair is just plenty. I also packed two different pairs of black leggings. When traveling, I don’t tend to look too different from day to day. You’ll notice I have my uggs for each outfit, leggings and a different sweater. But the great thing about it, is I can mix and match all of this and it’ll all work. I can throw my jeans with any sweater and wear those OTK boots anytime to dress up an outfit.
As far as my pajamas, I packed two different pajama bottoms that would work with the same top. :) That’s not completely necessary, I personally just like to change my pajamas every night but don’t have the luxury or room to pack that many different sets!

Makeup + Toiletries

Typically when I leave for a trip, my makeup and my bathroom supplies are the last things that get thrown into my bag. I have cutie sparkly bags that hold all of my stuff and I leave them out to fill as I get ready.

Face Base: I have been using this *Neutrogena lotion as a primer/1st step to my makeup. *Loreal Glotion *Loreal Pro-Glow

This is such a great little travel hack! Get yourself a contact case and fill them with whatever you want! I used mine for powder and foundation.

*You’ll also see here two face masks. I didn’t pack these, but I set them out because I like to give myself a little spa day prior to traveling as well as once I get home so my skin is ready for the trip!
